Manufacturing Process

1. Cathode Preparation

Material: Lithium compounds (LiCoO₂, LiMn₂O₄, or LiFePO₄) selected for performance characteristics
Mixing: Active material combined with conductive agents and PVDF binder in solvent slurry
Coating: Uniform slurry application on aluminum foil, dried and calendared for consistent density

2. Anode Preparation

Material: Graphite for lithium ion intercalation
Process: Mixed with binder and conductive additive, coated on copper foil, then calendared

3. Electrolyte Preparation

Composition: Lithium salt (LiPF₆) in organic solvent mixture (EC, DMC, EMC)
Processing: Mixed in controlled environment, filtered for purity with moisture control

4. Assembly

Separator: Microporous polymer film between electrodes
Stacking/Winding: Electrode-separator structure formed into cell core
Encapsulation: Flexible polymer pouch sealed against moisture and air

5. Formation and Initial Charging

Formation: Controlled charge-discharge cycles to activate materials and form SEI layer
Conditioning: Optimizes electrochemical performance through parameter-controlled cycling

6. Quality Testing and Inspection

Electrical Testing: Capacity, internal resistance, and voltage characteristics
